This powerful encoder also includes IP and ASI inputs for further utility and performance. This new unit integrates H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC encoding, multiplexing and modulating all in one chassis. Comes standard in a 1RU rackmount chassis. Supports UHD ultra-high-definition television UHD TV resolution up to 2160P at 60hz Chroma 4.2.2 and 4.2.0. Supports one HDMI 2.0 channel UHD signal input for encoding, and in addition it has 2 ASI and 128 IP input for re-mux and multiplexing as well as modulation on any of the 4 DVB-C/T carrier outputs with one RF port. It also has 2 ASI ports and an IP port to output TS in 4 MPTS. The newest Thor Broadcast 4k Encoder is processing uncompressed UHD signals at eight times the bitrate of current HD sources, it encodes content in real time via 10-bit HEVC and it offers incredible compression efficiency, making live UHD delivery available for satellite, cable, terrestrial and fiber networks.
