Key Code Media Launches 2026 Key Code Total Care Support Plans

Burbank, CA – November 11th 2025 – Key Code Media today announced major updates to its Key Code Total Care (KTC) Support Contract Program for 2026, expanding coverage for broadcast and audio-visual systems and introducing new add-on packages designed to give customers more flexibility, predictable costs, and deeper workflow support.

Key Code Total Care delivers proactive support and optimization for AV, broadcast, and post-production technology- covering everything from on-premises and cloud systems to emergency troubleshooting. The program is built to help organizations reduce downtime, extend the life of their systems, and ensure staff can confidently operate complex, interconnected workflows.

While increased pricing will go into effect in 2026, Key Code Media will honor legacy 2025 pricing for any KTC support contract signed before January 1, 2026. This allows existing and new customers to lock in current rates while taking advantage of the updated program.

“We’ve kept our pricing stable for 20 years, and we want our existing clients to continue benefiting from that stability as a thank-you for their support,” said Mike Cavanagh, President of Key Code Media. “KTC gives our clients certified manufacturer-level support, which is especially valuable in multi-vendor systems. Our plans are flexible and configurable around each client’s needs. With over 50 certified engineers, our goal is to keep our clients successful.”

New Add-On Packages for Flexible Coverage

The updated KTC program introduces several new add-on options, allowing organizations to tailor support to their specific staffing, hours, and production demands:

  • Additional Onsite / Emergency / Remote Support Hours
Customers can add blocks of support hours to their annual plans, ensuring they have extra coverage during major productions, seasonal peaks, or large projects.
  • Audio Visual–Only Packages (Reduced Rates)
Dedicated AV-only KTC plans are now available at reduced rates for education and government customers focused primarily on classroom, meeting room, and campus AV infrastructure. These plans keep AV systems online and easy to use without paying for coverage they don’t need.
  • HopLine – Creative Team Support Plan
A new HopLine creative support option gives editors, colorists, and production staff a direct line to advanced Key Code Education instructors for Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Avid Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve, and more. When deadlines are tight and timelines are critical, HopLine ensures creative teams can get expert workflow help fast, with support available by phone, remote session, or in person.

These add-ons complement the existing Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum+ tiers, which include options for 24/7 support, onsite technician visits, software updates, loaner equipment, annual site evaluations, documentation, and technology consulting.

Expanded Vendor Coverage for Broadcast & AV

As part of the 2026 update, the Key Code Total Care Support Plan expands its frontline support Vendor list to include additional leading manufacturers, giving customers a single, trusted partner across more of their technology stack. Newly supported Audio visual and Broadcast partners include Crestron, Extron, EVS, Iconik, Grass Valley, OpenDrives, Ross Video, and Shure.

These manufacturers join an already extensive roster of supported technologies that spans editing, storage, routing, graphics, contribution, and audio-visual control systems.

“More of our customers are running hybrid environments that span broadcast, post-production, and AV,” said Mike Cavanagh, President of Key Code Media. “The 2026 KTC updates are about giving them one support program that understands the entire facility and workflow from control room to classroom, from machine rooms to government meeting spaces so customers stay successful with their investments long after the install.”

Legacy Pricing Window & How to Get Started

New increased program pricing will apply to all Key Code Total Care contracts starting January 1, 2026. However: Any KTC support contract signed prior to January 1, 2026 will receive legacy 2025 pricing for the full contract term.
