Apantac Partners with Orad for US Road Show
Posted on Monday, November 3, 2014
Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, extenders, and signal processing solutions announced that its TAHOMA LE-16 HD Multiviewer is part of Orad’s upcoming US technology road show. Orad, world leading provider of 3D broadcast graphics, video servers, and media asset management solutions will be displaying its TD Control multi-screen control application, which provides dynamic control for all multi-video production needs. The road show’s first stop is at CCW from November 12-13 in New York City.

The technology road show will enable broadcasters, remote production, houses of worship, sports producers, and media companies to experience real-time 3D broadcast graphics, video server solutions, and media asset management in an intimate and hands-on environment.

Coupled with Apantac’s Multiviewers, Orad will showcase the latest technology advancements and compelling solutions that streamline production workflow and improve production value. The TAHOMA HD Multiviewers will support Orad’s by providing the multi-image monitoring and processing required to visually monitor the 4K/3G/HD/SD-SDI and composite inputs on a single or group of displays. Coupled with the Orad TD Control, the Apantac Multiviewers provide a cost-effective approach that provides just about any type of monitoring experience, regardless of the signal type.

The TAHOMA LE solutions are a 4K-ready Multiviewer series that auto-detect 4 to 64 video inputs (3G/HD/SD-SDI/Composite), and supports DVI, HDMI and VGA outputs up to 2048x1080 (incl. 1080P). All TAHOMA Multiviewers includes built-in video and audio alarm detection as well as a skin technology for personalizing the on screen display with any graphics tool. The TAHOMA series incorporates a built-in CATx extender, which allows digital 1080P signals to be extended up to 115 feet. The combination of a Multiviewer and built-in CATx extender in a single solution helps reduce overall equipment costs and eliminates any equipment compatibility issues that may arise.

The road show events are free to attend, and Orad representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the products and solutions available, and discuss their applications for a wide variety of markets.

“Together with Apantac, viewers will be able to get an excellent impression of how TD Control can convert all the complexities of their existing workflow by consolidating all tasks into a single, intuitive, user interface,” comments Brian Kelly, General Manager, Orad North America.
