Apantac Focuses on Live Production, Virtual KVM, HDMI Multiviewer Monitoring Applications at ISE 2012
Posted on Wednesday, January 25, 2012
The Apantac team will be showing three key technology demonstrations at ISE 2012, stand 11 N67 and include; live production, virtual KVM, and multi-input HDMI multiviewer monitoring.

Demonstrations will include the full line-up of Apantac solutions including; TAHOMA platform of multiviewers, MT HOOD line of touch-screen / HDMI / VGA / DVI / KVM extenders, MAZAMA family of fiber optic extenders, and CRESCENT series of compact converters, distribution amplifiers, audio de-embedders.  Apantac’s new CRESCENT test pattern generator will be highlighted, as well as the new CRESCENT DA-HDTV-SDI Converter showing STB signals being converted into SDI.

Live Production Demonstration:
The live production demonstration of the TAHOMA-DL “Hybrid” Multiviewer and the Roland V-1600HD Multi-Format Switcher will show a seamless integration of multi-format switching and monitoring with serial tally.  This combined solution is ideal for a large variety of live production applications.  Apantac’s “Hybrid” Multiviewer and Roland’s Multi-Format Production Switcher complement each other perfectly as both products support HD/SD-SDI, RGB, Component, DVI, HDMI, and composite inputs.

Virtual KVM Demonstration:
This live demonstration will showcase the new TAHOMA Cynergy, a software option that lets users control all computer inputs on one or multiple TAHOMA Multiviewers with a single mouse and keyboard.  Cynergy features a seamless interface between a single mouse and keyboard with all computers that are part of the TAHOMA Multiviewer system.  For example; users can move the mouse across all windows on single display or multiple displays, as well as copy and paste information between connected computers.  Cynergy will be demonstrated with a TAHOMA-DE “Universal” Multiviewer.

Multi-Input HDMI Multiviewer Monitoring:
Apantac will preview its newest addition to the TAHOMA Multiviewer platform; the DX-4 and DX-8.  The DX-4 multiviewer includes an integrated HDMI 4x4 router, and the DX-8 multiviewer includes an integrated HDMI 8x8 router.  The integration of an HDMI router with a multiviewer allows users to route any HDMI or DVI input to any display output.

Apantac will be at ISE 2012 on stand 11 N67.
