AUTOCUE'S BROADCAST ASIA 2011 PREVIEW Autocue Broadcast Asia 2011 Preview Stand: 4F3-08 After a five-year absence, the much-anticipated return of Autocue to Broadcast Asia will see the introduction of Autocue's acclaimed video server and broadcast monitor ranges to the Asian marketplace. At Broadcast Asia 2011 Autocue will showcase four standalone, Linux-based video servers featuring a choice of two or four bi-directional HD/SD channels, each of which can be switched instantly between playback and record mode. The servers can also be linked, enabling additional channels to be controlled from a single user interface. A range of storage capacities and connection options are available as well as additional software modules for tasks such as creating playlists, linking ports for simultaneous playback or record, and marking in and out points. The versatility of the servers make them an ideal choice for a wide range of applications including education, corporate and faith productions, live events, cinema, theatre, small TV stations as well as large broadcast operations. Autocue will also feature a unique range of feature rich, broadcast quality reference monitors that outperform competing brands in many areas of specification while also being more price competitive. There are five different series of monitors in the range, with the "T-Series" (BM-AC24T) being a particularly attractive option for many. Although not technically a "Grade 1" monitor by EBU standards, the 24-inch LED-backlit T-Series panel comes as close as any other "Grade 1" monitor on the market. It is available for a fraction of the cost of other "Grade 1" solutions. Also being introduced to the Asian market is the new Master Series 12" teleprompter to complement the recently designed 17" and 20" models. The new Master Series range represents the latest and greatest in teleprompter hardware. Using LED backlit technology, Autocue's design team has created the first ever slim line, high-bright teleprompter monitors.
