IDK’s MSD-7204UHDTB is a 4K UHD Digital Multi Switcher with built-in scan conversion that supports all VESA & HD resolutions up to true 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 (18Gbps) HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2. It enables users and integrators to implement a true 4K AV system with exceptional reliability and ease of use for multiple applications. The multi-format capable MSD provides seamless and predictable switching transitions between HDMI, DVI and universal analog format inputs. Only a single black frame is inserted between transitions and total switching execution times are less than one second and switching performance is independent of input format or protocol, providing an elegant and stress-free user experience, even when handling 18Gbps high resolution HDCP2.2 encrypted signals.

The MSD’s API enables implementation of third party control. However, the included “IQ-Control” app is an iOS® / Android® BYOD control environment providing an attractive and low cost alternative for a variety of use cases.
