Matrox Wins Multiple 2019 Product of the Year Awards for Pro AV Excellence

Prestigious industry awards programs recognize QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers for unrivaled video wall design flexibility and Maevex 6120 enterprise encoders for breakthrough multi-channel 4K streaming and recording

Matrox® Graphics Inc. is pleased to announce that its Matrox QuadHead2Go™ multi-monitor controllers and Matrox Maevex 6120 dual 4K enterprise encoders have been recognized as 2019 pro AV products of the year by Systems Contractor News (SCN) and Sound & Video Contractor (SVC), respectively. The groundbreaking QuadHead2Go controllers are capable of driving four displays from one signal, offering an easy and convenient path to next-generation video walls, while the game-changing Maevex 6120 encoder delivers exceptional-quality capture, encoding, streaming, and recording of multiple 4K inputs from a single 1U, half-rack appliance.

Matrox QuadHead2Go: Scalable. Flexible. Easy-to-deploy video walls.

Identified as one of the “most impactful pro AV products of the year” by SCN, Matrox QuadHead2Go controller appliances and cards capture a single video signal—of up to 4Kp60 and 8Kx8K—for display across up to four screens, at resolutions up to 1920x1200 per output. The input content could be from any source—including professional graphics cards and integrated GPUs, digital signage players, laptops, and more—while displays can be arranged in classic rectangular 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4 setups, or a variety of other artistic configurations. The now-shipping QuadHead2Go units can also be used together to easily build ultra-large video walls of any type and size.

Matrox Maevex 6120: Flexible multi-4K streaming & recording

Pro AV users and integrators selected the Matrox Maevex 6120 dual 4K encoder as an outstanding technological innovation in SVC’s 9th annual readers’ choice awards. Maevex 6120 delivers video feeds to cloud-based servers to reach internet viewers, pushes many streams over LAN for audiences on-premises, and records to local or network storage for later editing and viewing—all simultaneously. The encoder appliance also includes built-in HLS support for enhanced multi-protocol streaming and recording flexibility, as well as simplified and automated webcasting to YouTube, Facebook Live, IBM Watson Media, and more. The included Maevex PowerStream Plus software and Maevex APIs ensure complete control and/or integration functionality.
