The Challenge

Application:  Adjustable Ceiling Mounted Projectors Special Projection Effects

Opportunity: Engineer six custom projection mounts, enabling projectors to be securely mounted and images focused onto irregularly shaped objects used as front screens. Mounts must be able to maintain each projector’s precise position, and the geometry of the edge blending and warping special effects.
 
 
The Solution - Action Taken

Premier Mounts carefully examined the overall project objectives from the Designer’s drawings, engineering a solution that would enable the desired special projection effects.

The PDS Series Mount was used which has tilt, roll and yaw adjustments. When combined with a custom projector mounting bracket using foot peg mounting points, the solution maintained each projector’s’ precise position to project the images onto the irregularly shaped objects and maintain the geometry of the edge blending and warping special effects.

The projector mounts were securely installed in the ceiling with Unistrut using the PP-5 ceiling adapter to ensure the stability of the projectors and maintain the special projection effects.
