RackView Keyboard is an innovative space saving design that fits in 1U of rack space. The rack mountable keyboard is packaged neatly in a compact pullout drawer. This easy-glide keyboard drawer contains a tactile 106-key keyboard, and a touchpad mouse with two buttons.

You can place the product at any height within a standard 19" rack. This offers the operator the maximum in comfort and takes up a minimum amount of rack space. The front panel conceals the unit when it is not in use.

Installation of the RackView Keyboard is very easy. Simply adjust the rear rack rail length to the depth of your rack using one of the two supplied rear-mount brackets, slide the unit through the rack, and secure the rack mount brackets to the rack rails.

Both PS/2 and USB keyboard interfaces are present so you can connect to current or legacy equipment. A six foot (2m) USB-AA cable is included. The PS2 cables are approximately 30 inches (.75 m) long.

The product is often paired with a RackView Panel Mount to make a complete KVM station. This gives the benefit of having the LCD display always present, but the keyboard can hide away when not needed.
