Jonathan “Jon” Ridel joined RTS on August 1, 2012 to serve as the brand’s new Regional Sales Manager UK & Ireland. In his new role, Ridel will be responsible for sales and marketing of RTS in the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as maintaining and strengthening contacts with broadcasters, system integrators and dealers.

 

A long-term veteran in the professional audio industry, Ridel has long-standing experience in the broadcast, tour sound and recording fields. During the last 25 years the trained APRS Engineer held sales roles with Soundcraft and Harman International – not only in the United Kingdom but also in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

 

Originally a specialist in mixing consoles, Ridel is looking forward to his new professional role: “As a keen musician, I retain an interest in audio technology in all its varied forms. Communications is the heart and backbone of an event; this fascinates and intrigues me. RTS products are the industry standard and stand for both quality and reliability for highest audio professional use. I am very pleased be joining the RTS team and look forward to being part of the RTS family.”
