The Thor H-8A-ENC is an encoder for analog audio signals. The unit features 8 pairs of unbalanced stereo audio, or 16 mono inputs on BNC terminals. Each channel can be independently controlled and gain values set. Encoding is preformed via the MPEG1 Layer 2 codec with multiple bit rates supported. Once the audio is compressed, it is provided on both ASI and Network audio stream outputs. All settings and control features are available on both a front LCD keypad and through a web browser via an integrated web server. Contact a sales representative for more information.
